WI Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Plan

The Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Plan is a public document prepared by all states every two years.  Before June 30, 2009 each state submits its plan to the federal Administration for Children and Families - Child Care Bureau for their review and approval in order to receive CCDF dollars.  An approved Wisconsin Plan will award Wisconsin approximately $85,000 annually and some additional funds under the American Recovery and Investment Act.  The Plan describes the administration of the child care subsidy and quality programs proposed for continued funding for 2009-2011.  States are required to seek public comments on their proposed plan and to hold a public hearing where comments are received and considered for inclusion.  The public hearing for the Wisconsin's CCDF Plan is scheduled for May 11, 2009. A revised CCDF Draft Plan will be posted on this web site in July, and the final approved plan will be posted in the Fall.
