Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)

The Wisconsin Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has an electronic application for a portion of the contracting process between the DCFS and sixteen Wisconsin Community Action Agencies, the state's migrant serving agency and its three Limited Purpose Agencies.

The CSBG application system is used to track applications as well as program goals and outcomes, and its associated processes are owned and managed by the Division of Children and Family Services. It is a password protected Web-based application that requires all users to have a Wisconsin user account and be assigned appropriate access (role).

If you have already been assigned a CSBG role, log into the 2008 application.

If you do not have an assigned CSBG role, please complete the following 3-step process:

Step 1: Obtain a Web Access Management System ID (WAMS), if you do not have one. Click on http://on.wisconsin.gov/WAMS/SelfReg.SelfRegController. Click on "Self Registration". Read the Overview and Starting the Self-registration Process. At the bottom of the screen you will find the "Accept" or "Decline" buttons. In order to get into the CSBG electronic application you will need to click on Accept. Proceed to the next screen where you will enter your personal information. Once you have completed the information portion you can click on "Submit".

Step 2: Request Access to CSBG Application. In order to get access to the CSBG application, e-mail the following information to Kitty Kocol at kocolkm@dhfs.state.wi.us: your name, phone number, agency name, title and your WAMS user id. You will get a return e-mail when your ID has been established.

Step 3: If you have been assigned a CSBG role, click on http://apps.dhfs.state.wi.us/csbg/ to log in.
